Identical.
US voice phones and modems use two wires of it.

If the cable has extra wires they may or may not be connected, it doesn't
matter.
Cable is not RJ anything, RJnn are standards for modular plugs/jacks.
RJ12 cable if anything makes sense would be 6 conductor (3 twisted pairs)
whereas the cable used on RJ11 usually would be 4 conductors, but could
perfectly well be two conductors.

The microfilter is wired like this - you can see the middle connectors are in
use.
