UNIVERSITY OF OXFORD DEPARTMENT FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION Senior Learning Technologist (Maternity Cover 6-9 months) Research Grade II Salary Range £25,451 to 33,679 pro rata per annum The University of Oxford’s Technology-Assisted Lifelong Learning (TALL) unit has been at the forefront of online education since its inception in 1996. The remit of the unit is to research the technology and pedagogy of online learning, feeding the results into the production of quality learning experiences for both the University and high profile external clients. TALL now requires a Senior Learning Technologist starting 29 March for a period of six to nine months to cover maternity leave. Secondments and part-time working arrangements would be considered. Reporting to the Director of TALL, the Senior Learning Technologist will take responsibility for all pedagogical aspects of online learning for the TALL team. Educated to degree level with at least three years experience gained in a similar environment, he/she will have a strong working knowledge of educational technologies and their implications for learning as well as practical experience of applying that knowledge to course design and delivery.
