Dear All,
Netskills will be running the popular workshop 'Introduction to e-Learning for FE' at Islington City Learning Centre in London on 30th March 2004.

Please note that this workshop has been subsidised by the JISc at 60 pounds for all participants from FE. As our e-Learning workshops tend to fill very quickly we would advise submitting a booking form sonner rather than later in order to secure a place for this date.

A brief outline of the workshop is given below. For a full description and booking form, please see http://www.netskills.ac.uk/workshops/forthcoming.html

Kind Regards

Introduction to e-Learning for FE
09:30 - 16:30 Tuesday 30th March 2004

At Islington City Learning Centre, London

Many high profile reports recognise the importance of electronic information and delivery in education, particularly using networked resources such as the World Wide Web. A wealth of resources and techniques now exist which serve as a source both for exciting examples of new teaching practices, as well as easily accessible methods for adoption into everyday learning and teaching . This is a practical workshop for users of the World Wide Web who would like to understand more about how the internet can be used for teaching and learning. The workshop aims to introduce and explore some of the tools and techniques used in internet-based teaching and participants will have the opportunity to create some simple web-based materials.

It is suitable for lecturers from any subject area, librarians and learning resources centre staff, learning support, administrators and computing staff.
