May I use this list to tell you about our very short 20 credits course
in methods of teaching online from the Institute of Education, University
of London . Our "students" normally include academics and related staff
that may be part of e-learning design teams, e.g. technical specialists or
librarians.

It is the 4 week blended learning Online Education & Training, that needs
you to be in London for 5 days [26, 30 April; 7, 14, 21 May, 2004] and
work online between these days.

We consider methods of teaching and syllabus design, closely tied to
educational needs
of the campus as well as distance use. It gives a real insight into
e-learning provision from
the student point of view.

As with much good modern teaching, we focus very much on group
collaborative learning, both in our method of running the course and in the
topics we discuss. There is also a wide range of special options for
special interests.

It is a long established course that has been restructured to run by this 4
weeks blended mode.
