We do not run Texthelp over the network (I am not sure that I'd
recommend trying!), but have it installed on all our student PCs (our IT
department produces standard Norton Ghost images with all the software
preloaded). I think that this is probably the best way to do it, as
there are fewer opportunities for things to go wrong!
We run Windows XP Pro at the moment.
