Strathclyde Student Support Services may be able to offer advice http://www.strath.ac.uk/Departments/specneeds/snguide_blind.htm as they also have the Teachability Project - In the meantime here are some links that I have in my folder on the subject! We're making all the usual investigations (Nat Centre for Tactile Diagrams etc) as it's a very visually-based subject and the bulk of info is presented diagrammatically. I just wondered if anyone had direct experience of the same situation that they'd be willing to share with me? Someone at the Tactile Diagrams place told us they'd only heard of one other blind student of Chemistry! Thanks, Sue The University of Birmingham Tel 0121 414 2897 email [log in to unmask]
