Young adults born in 1984 are approaching their 21st birthdays. From this milestone point in your lives the BBC would like to hear about your hopes and ambitions, relationships, career plans and education, how you see your place in the world and how do you envisage the future? How do you see your future? It will be an opportunity to share experiences and personal stories in a series which we hope will raise awareness about your generations hope and fears and celebrate your triumphs. How Will It Be Made? We're looking for a wide variety of people to be involved from all across the UK, with all kinds of experiences. Initially, to help with our research, we will be looking to just talk with individuals who think they might want to be involved, over the phone (if you call us directly we can always call you straight back to save your bill) or meet at organisations where appropriate. Then a short time after we will record interviews with a few of these people to be heard on the programme itself. Interviews may be recorded in a studio, at home or at another venue appropriate to you. Interviews will usually take no more than one hour and all travel expenses are covered. All interviews are confidential. When Will This Happen? We'd like to talk with people NOW! Recordings will take place during October and November. The programme will be broadcast on BBC Radio 4 as a five part series in December of this year.
