STAND-ALONE OR DEGREE TRACK TRAINING COURSES IN DEA AND STOCHASTIC
FRONTIERS
Management which includes introductory and advanced modules on DEA and
Econometric Methods, including Stochastic Frontier methods. The
modules of the package are delivered during weekends to enable those
with
work or other commitments, including those from outside the
to take them. The modules are fully accredited into the Aston MBA and
MSc programmes for those who wish to take the assessments and
accumulate credit towards a post-graduate qualification. Delegates may
take one or more modules spread over a number of years. A description

FEES
For those in full time education during the year they take a module the fee is £200 per day making a total of £800 per module.
For those not in full time education the
fees in 2004/5 for a full four day Module are 1450 pounds for those not
in full time education. This includes a copy of the main textbook used
in the module and the lecture notes prepared by the course tutors. It
does not include accommodation, travel or subsistence costs. The
minimum fee payable is for one day. The fees for parts of modules are
as follows.
One day – 450 pounds; Two days – 850 pounds; Three days – 1150 pounds.
Where a module is completed over more than one academic year the fees payable in the final year will be the balance to the full module fee applicable in the year the module is completed.
RESERVING PLACES
If you wish to reserve one or more places please let me have the
delegate name(s), the module(s) they wish to attend and the number of
days they wish to attend on each module this year. I can be reached
as in the signature below.
Please note that M1 is a pre-requisite for M3 if the delegate has had
no recent exposure to Statistics and for M4 if the delegate has had no
recent exposure to Linear Programming. Finally M3 and M4 are
pre-requisites for M5 for those who have not had exposure to
Econometrics or DEA respectively.
