Presumably, it would still be covered with a SAR. You could write a letter requesting a proof of the photo and quote DPA, enclosing a cheque for £10. Surely you'll get your photo that way! Anyway, I phoned up the magazine to try and get the proof as it was a good photo. I was asked why I wanted it and explained to keep for posterity as it was my son and the journalist said he would have to ask the photographer's permission....to which I nearly said my son had not given consent to have the picture published but as I wanted the proof I didn't. As he was playing on a public pitch I presume they can just print???? Any thoughts??
