The problem is that the ISEB has a question bank and the giving out of
exam questions is a problem for them

Also, if I am to put my Durant hat on - a exam question is not personal
data. The answer might not be also as it might not be a relevant filing
system

I'm sure many of us on the list recall taking the ISEB Data Protection
Exam? The very peculiar thing (IMHO) about that exam is not only could
we not take our exam paper out of the exam, but all previous exam papers
were strictly not available for us to practise on when we were
revising?!

Could it be that we could force the ISEB to release past data protection
exam papers?? It would really help people in their revision.

***** THIS EMAIL WAS SENT VIA THE INTERNET *****

Are you saying that 11+ papers never change on a year by year basis? I
can't see any problem - have recently sat a PRiNCE2 exam and I was
provided with previous test papers for revision purposes. Admittedly
when I submitted my exam I was not allowed to keep the question
paper..or am I being niave?

        Good Afternoon,
I have been set the following query from an Education Colleague
and thought
I'd throw it out for debate - Thank you in advance for your
help.
        Jane Corrin

"I was wondering whether you can help on a matter of some
urgency. We are
getting an increasing number of requests to release 11+ papers
and reports
from headteachers to the borderline panel. We have refused to
provide these
in the past because they quite often contain confidential info.
Can you
refer me to an exception within the Fof Info Act which is
relevant. The 11+
papers are copywrite and if we release the questions that will
inevitably
threaten the integrity of the tests"
