Oh yes, the MPS (and similar services for other modes of communication)
are great, especially the TPS.  They do seem to work better than 95%.

Sadly they don't deal with **unaddressed** material, i.e. the leaflets
which the Post office delivers to each household in an area.

There is a service - called the Mail Preference Service.
There's also one for unsolicited faxes - called, spookily enough, the
Fax Preference Service.
