I seem to remember that it is not illegal to take on a different identity or name so long as it is not for an illegal purpose, so he can legally use a different name but must show sufficient proof that he is who he claims to be. Although he has supplied proof of his "real" identity, much of the information I have managed to find (especially all the juicy stuff!) refers to him under this other assumed name; which leaves me in a bit of a quandary, as to whether or not I should supply it, given that he cannot prove that he is in fact one and the same person. I would very much like to hear the list's thoughts ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ All archives of messages are stored permanently and are available to the world wide web community at large at http://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/lists/data-protection.html If you wish to leave this list please send the command leave data-protection to [log in to unmask] All user commands can be found at : - http://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/help/commandref.htm (all commands go to [log in to unmask] not the list please) ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ ********************************************************************** The views and comments expressed in this email are confidential to the recipients and should not be passed on to others without permission.
