Dear All,

This is just to say a big 'thank you' to everyone who has participated in
the survey conducted by UMIST and Sibilo to ascertain the problems faced by
information officers in servicing Subject Access Requests and those
foreseen by the recent introduction of the FOI Act.

However we need more responses urgently for a set of credible findings
which will be released on February 23rd, to coincide with the Information
Commissioner's vist to UMIST. We hope to have a presentation of the results
just before the Information Commissioner's talk titled 'Developments in
Data Protection and Freedom of Information'.

The questionnaires are much easier to use when first printed and filled
manually.
