How do _you_ know the individuals have consented?

What checks would _you_ normally carry out to establish identity? Have _you_
carried them out in this case?

I would suggest that, whatever course of action you decide to follow, it
would be good practice before making any disclosure for you to inform the
individuals concerned of the request (ensuring they have adequate time to
seek legal advice and obtain an injunction preventing disclosure, should
they wish to do so).
