Justify your actions in writing when disclosing the data, in fact prior to
disclosing the data, and run this at once past your legal people. To me you
seem to be perfectly right.

What if they are an employee of another organisation- but have provided us
with the information for our records?
The information is not centered about who said what, and is not changed by
not having the names included, the violence is very real and one member of
our staff has already been physically assaulted.
I have included the information that relates to internal staff but have
given job titles rather then names.

The outside people who have provided the information are deeply worried that
providing the information will only increase the ferocity of the attacks and
baring in mind H&S i feel i have a duty to protect those people who are
acting under contract from further violence.

I m happy to give the information, I just don't feel that I would be acting
in anyones best interest if i gave out names.

Is this very wrong???
