Observations From a legal perspective this one not quite as clear cut as the Cahoot one. The BBA has a banking code which references customers obligations re sharing passwords etc. see http://www.bba.org.uk/bba/jsp/polopoly.jsp?d=347 section on Protection 12.4 Customers of banking services usually have an obligation to ensure passwords and access data to their accounts are not shared with others as part of their contract terms and conditions. Using auto-complete on shared computers would be a breach of any contract conditions they enter into with their banking service provider. Security obligations are not one way individuals have to take some responsibility.
