selection from an ongoing set of films, some shown for the first time

for 4 movable 16mm projectors b/w silent c.15 mins
a live projection event adapted specfically to the gallery space at Camden
Arts Centre.
PENUMBRA 2003 Nicky Hamlyn
16mm b/w silent 9 mins
the interest in re-occurring geometric forms continues 30 years on in this
recent single-screen work.
SLIDES 1971 Annabel Nicolson
16mm col silent 18 fps 11 mins
fragments of photographs and stitched thread caught in the stream of film as
it passes through the printing machine. hand-printed by the artist at the
LFMC in 1971.
10 DRAWINGS 1976 Steve Farrer
16mm b/w sound 20 mins (+ drawings)
raw strips of 16mm film are arranged into a square, then criss-crossed with
hand-drawn lines before being re-assembled into a linear strip, and
projected.
Organised as part of the current VALIE EXPORT retrospective (on view until
