The next e-moderating course in Blackboard starts next week, on Wednesday 18th February.

As you may know the course is totally online, runs for 5 weeks and is based on Gilly Salmon's 5-stage model of online learning. Gilly will also be participating in the course, ie while the course is hosted in BB in GCU, it is run by externals.

We aim to have c12 people on the course and there are still a few places for this start date so if you know of anyone who'd be interested please let them know. 

Whether  you're doing online work with remote students already, or thinking about beginning, or want to embed the use of online discussions with campus based students this is a great way to experience online learning from a learners perspective, as well as develop your own skills in managing group discussions online (and of course using Blackboard VLE).

Being able to work together online with people from different disciplines and institutions around the world is another benefit - and is really enjoyable too!
