We have no plans at the moment for extending the petition, but

the BASA Education Sub-Committee will meet some time in April to work out next steps. If you'd like to be involved, please let me know. Email [log in to unmask]

The petition is good - congratulations to those who drafted it.

Are similar ones going out to the Education Secretaries of the devolved governments of the UK, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, for whom the Secretary of State for Education has no responsibility?
