BlankAs part of a freelance publishing commission I have started my own imprint 'History & Social Action Publications'. The first pamphlet will be published next Thursday. It is the reminiscences of someone who worked at Oxford House 1940-48. This is being done on behalf of Oxford House (Bethnal Green) and the Settlements & Social Action Research Group. The second pamphlet will be in association with Labour Heritage and will be on William Miller, the black Labour activist in Plymouth 1920s to 1970. A problem with the ISBN system is people having to pay for a minimum of 10 numbers even though they may only want to publish one or two things over a two year period. My imprint is aimed to help people/organisations who want an ISBN number to publish without the cost of 10. So if anyone in the BASA network has something they want to publish as a pamphlet, let's discuss whether I can be of help.
