Papers should be comparative and/or interdisciplinary. The following
potential subject areas are suggested:

- alchemy and magic
- ecology and nature
- medicine and literature
- poetry and science
- hypertexts
- technology and fiction
- popular science writing
- early science fiction

Proposals (title and 200-word abstract) should be sent to reach the
