Hi Simon

The two languages are very close and you might just be able to make the
Hindi TTS do the job for Punjabi (with an accent). Please let me know if
you do manage it as I've been working with a client who could benefit
from it too.

Thanks for all your answers, we've actually found a potential candidate
for a Hindi TTS (she also speaks Hindi):
http://vaachak.mla.iitk.ac.in/vaachak/speak.htm although we have
absolutely no idea if it is any good or not yet! Still no leads on the
Punjabi version though...
