The 15th International Congress on Archives brought together some 2000 colleagues from 116 countries in Vienna from 23-29 August 2004, to discuss innovations, challenges and experiences across all areas of the archives and records profession. Their deliberations were complemented by 'Extended Congress' events held in Benin, Germany, Japan and elsewhere. While the participants may have left the Congress building, their ideas and decisions live on!
