You will be responsible for shaping the way in which Merseyside Police manages its records, which include paper files and documents as well as audio, video, electronic and digital records. You will implement the records management policy and an electronic document management system and also manage the contract for an off-site records storage facility. This is a new post created in order to assist the Force as it prepares for the Freedom of Information Act which becomes effective in January 2005.
