The Archives Hub (http://www.archiveshub.ac.uk/) will be holding a training day for Archives Hub contributors in Manchester. This will be on Thursday 13 January 2005 at the Kilburn Building, the University of Manchester, Oxford Road, Manchester M13 9PL. Directions to the University and a campus map are available from http://www.manchester.ac.uk/aboutus/howtofindus/ The day will start at 11.00 and finish by 4.00. A free lunch will be provided. The day will include: A short introduction to the Archives Hub and to latest developments An introduction to EAD Using the online template to create Hub records Using the WIKI to create Hub records Indexing for the Archives Hub Hands on experience of creating records using the template.
