SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIPS PROGRAMME Leeds Fast-Track permanent career opportunities Are you developing a career as an independent researcher? This could be your opportunity to progress rapidly towards a high level, permanent Academic position as part of a world-leading research team at the University of Leeds. The University places high value on its status as a Research University and, in order to enhance research quality and assist in the development of a research culture, has established a Research Fellowships Programme aimed at attracting dynamic and promising researchers on the threshold of an outstanding academic career to work with research groups of international quality. If you have already gained substantial post doctoral (or equivalent) experience and established a track record of achievement employed on high quality research projects, these posts offer the opportunity to build on this and develop your skills as an independent researcher, progressing towards a career as a permanent member of the Academic staff. This is the seventh year of recruitment to the Programme, with over 60 appointments having been made in earlier years, many of whom have progressed to become Readers or Professors within, or shortly after the Fellowship period.
