RESEARCH ASSISTANT IN MEDICAL STATISTICS - King's College London
This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Medical Statistician for three
years on two interesting and high profile stroke projects. The first year
of the post will involve working on a study to investigate recovery after
stroke (using multilevel models) and developing software to monitor
recovery. The second and third years will be spent working on a study to
estimate the longer term outcomes after stroke (up to 8 years post-stroke)
and identify those aspects of care that may improve longer term outcomes
after stroke.
There may be the opportunity (for the right candidate) for this post to
form a PhD examining short and longterm outcomes after stroke, using novel
statistical methods.
You will have a postgraduate qualification in epidemiology or statistics.
Experience of conducting research using statistical and epidemiological
methods is desirable.
The post is on RA1B, with starting salary range of £19,460 - £21,640 plus
£2,323  London Weighting.
