in the Safety and Environmental Assurance Centre (SEAC) of Unilever, based on
our R&D site in Sharnbrook, Bedfordshire, UK..

Bayesian Statistician role, please feel free to contact me, Donna Jefferies, on
[log in to unmask] or (01234) 264880.

Similarly for the Decision Analysis role, further information can be obtained
from Andrea Dickens on [log in to unmask] or (01234) 264835.

Text of the advert, which will appear in various scientific publications
(embellished with a loaf of bread and a tub of margarine!), is as follows.

pro.activ by name….

Forgive the pun, but Unilever really does take the proactive approach to
analysing risk. We employ a team of analysts who use leading edge techniques to
influence product development and scientific research. Your work will cover a
vast range of products, and there’ll be the scope to lead new discoveries and
influence product innovations. So what does all this mean for you? Variety,
travel, empowerment and a higher profile than ever before.

We’re looking for an experienced Bayesian Statistician to lead
multi-disciplinary teams in assessing the safety of our products. Ref:100928

We also need a Decision Analyst to bring together specialists from across the
business to assess risk in a range of business decisions. This role combines
modelling and facilitation, often in a financial context. Ref:102640

What unites both roles is the natural instinct to think about things
differently, question accepted practices and come up with solutions to tricky
issues. If you’re interested in a more proactive career, send your cv to
[log in to unmask] quoting the appropriate reference number.

In applying for these positions, you agree, unless you notify us when
responding to this advert, that we may consider you for other vacancies we have
and make your details available to other companies in the Unilever group for
the same purpose. Some Unilever companies are in countries without any data
protection laws.

We are committed to diversity in everything we do.
