Part-time Database Administrator 
17.5 hours per week
£17,065 - £18,908 pro rata


The Department of Haematology has research interests in a wide range of areas related to the biology of leukaemias and lymphomas as well as bone marrow failure and disorders of blood clotting.  
 
We are seeking a Database Administrator to work within the Molecular Biology of Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia Group under the supervision of Professor Junia V. Melo at the laboratory level and by Professor Jane F. Apperley at the clinical level. The Haematology Department is based at the Hammersmith Campus of Imperial College, located in East Acton.

You will be engaged in part-time clerical assistance, including responsibility for entering information on Microsoft Office Access databases and keeping these databases up-to-date as follow-up information becomes available.  You will liase with a wide range of people, including medical doctors, research staff and clerical staff in Imperial College and Hammersmith Hospitals Trust.  You will be computer literate, well organised and methodical.  Basic experience with database and/or spreadsheet input and knowledge of medical terminology would be an advantage.
