The Department of Haematology has research interests in a wide range of areas related to the biology of leukaemia and lymphomas as well as bone marrow failure and disorders of blood clotting.

We are seeking a full-time Data Manager to collect and record data from the stem cell transplantation programme and clinical trials taking place in the Haematology Department at the Hammersmith Campus located in East Acton. Information is stored in an Access database and used for completing detailed questionnaires from international collaborative groups. The position combines routine administration tasks with the opportunity to contribute towards an active research programme.  The post is funded for two years in the first instance, with the possibility of extension pending availability of funds.

You will have previous experience in a medical environment and/or knowledge of medical terminology.  A degree and/or equivalent qualification in a life science or nursing discipline would be an advantage.  You should be well organised, flexible, and able to manage your workload to meet deadlines.  A working knowledge of Microsoft Access and Excel would also be desirable.
