Statistician

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic statistician to join the multidisciplinary 
research team coordinating the MRC/CRUK funded United Kingdom Collaborative 
Trial of Ovarian Cancer Screening (UKCTOCS) (website: www.ukctocs.org.uk). The 
main purpose of the post is to provide statistical support and assist in the conduct of 
the trial.  The person will work with the Trial Coordinator, based at Department of 
Gynaecological Oncology UCL, and the Trial Statistician, based at the MRC Clinical 
Trials Unit. There will be opportunity to develop methodology and perform 
underpinning research related to clinical trials as well as to become involved in the 
molecular and cell biology research programme.
The applicant should hold a postgraduate degree in statistics. 
The appointment is for 5 years. Salary is on the RA1A scale, dependent on 
experience. (Current salary range: £24,837 to £31,458 inclusive of London 
allowance).
