Market leading organisation based in the heart of Manchester is currently looking to recruit an experienced Statistical Analyst/Statistician with excellent knowledge of statistical packages such as S-Plus and/or Matlab. Your role well be to undertake statistical data analysis using various techniques (eg forecasting, clustering, regression, multivariate methods, etc). Any experience of Econometric modelling or Bayesian inference will give you a definite advantage over the competition. You must have at least 2 years experience of applying statistics to "real" data and are expected to be educated to at least MSc level, ideally Phd level. Your academic experience must be in one of the following: Statistics, Mathematics with Statistics, Operational Research or Management Science. Excellent communication skills are a must as this is a relaxed working environment where people get on well. Based in an excellent location with good transport links.
