ROYAL STATISTICAL SOCIETY

INTRODUCTORY MULTILEVEL MODELLING



Monday 22 March 2004 9.30 a.m. - 7.30 p.m, The Royal Statistical Society, 12 Errol Street, London, EC1Y 8LX. 

An intensive 1-day workshop designed to provide practising statisticians working in research with a basic understanding of the theory, techniques and applications of multilevel models.            	

The MLwiN software will be used in the presentations.


The workshop will be led by Professor Harvey Goldstein and Dr. Fiona Steele, Institute of Education, under the auspices of the Royal Statistical Society 


The workshop fee is as follows: 


£250 for non RSS fellows (non-academic)
£175 for non RSS fellows (academic)
£220 for RSS fellows (non-academic)
£125 for RSS fellows (academic)
£195 for CStats (non-academic)
£110 for CStats (academic) 


The CStat rate applies to MIS, FIS and GradStat. All cited fees include lunch, teas and coffees. 
                                       
N.B. Workshop participants are entitled to purchase MLwiN at the discounted rate of £400: Academics are entitled to an academic discount of 40% on this price.

There will be an opportunity at the end of the workshop for some participants to analyse their own data: space is limited and will be allocated on a first-requested-first-allocated basis.
