UNIVERSITY OF DUNDEE DENTAL HEALTH SERVICES RESEARCH UNIT Health Services Research Statistician/Epidemiologist Grade RA3 £32,125 - £39,958 per annum A Health Services Research Statistician/Epidemiologist is required is required within the Dental Health Services Research Unit (DHSRU) to provide statistical input across all Unit programmes and advice on a wide range of statistical issues. The post holder will work closely with DHSRU staff and its associates. DHSRU is one of seven Research Units core funded by the Chief Scientist Office (CSO) of the Scottish Executive health Department. The post holder will be expected to keep up to date with developments in the wider field of medical/dental statistics to ensure that the Unit is adopting the most appropriate statistical techniques and identify potential methods from which the Unit would benefit. The possession of a higher degree in statistics or epidemiology or another field relevant to Health Services Research is essential.
