4th Symposium on Lévy Processes: 10-14 January 2005

The Fourth Symposium on Lévy Processes: Theory and Applications
will be held at the newly founded Manchester Institute for
Mathematical Sciences at the University of Manchester, Manchester
UK.  The pattern of the Symposium will be similar to that of the
first two such meetings in Aarhus (1999, 2002) and the third in
Paris (2003).  The organizers are Ron Doney (Manchester), Dave
Applebaum (Nottingham Trent), Nick Bingham (Sheffield), Charles
Goldie (Sussex) and René Schilling (Sussex).  There will be
breakout sessions on fractals, sub-organised by B. Hambly
(Oxford) and T. Kumagai (Kyoto), and on finance, by A. Kyprianou
(Utrecht).  In addition the Symposium will include a special day
in honour of the 75th birthday of S. James Taylor.
Confirmed speakers include Barlow, Bertoin, Chen, Evans,
Khoshnevisan, Kiesel, Le Gall, Madan, Maller, Marcus, Mountford,
Nualart, Oksedal,Perkins, Samorodnitsky, Schoutens, Yor...
