In a fast-paced environment, as a vital part of a team of energetic, busy professional statisticians and programmers, you will be contributing to every aspect of the design and analysis of trials of these new compounds in Phase 1 of their clinical development. There is also the opportunity to contribute to methodology and research into the use of novel biomarkers and endpoints. As well as using your proven statistical expertise, you will advise international clinical development programmes and also research the statistical methodology appropriate for new areas. Working closely with clinical pharmacologists, clinical research scientists, and data managers as well as other statisticians, you will have excellent team-working and planning skills, along with a wide knowledge of the drug development process.
