CISHE in conjunction with the Cardiff School of Social Sciences is pleased to offer a 3 year fully funded MRC studentship to start 1st October 2004. Can rewards be effective? -Ethical issues in cluster randomised trials -Self-Monitoring and Drug Administration at Home by People with Cardiac Conditions: Expertise, Organisation, Economics, Identity, Advocacy -Increasing Healthy Eating: Effects of Self-Control Training and Rewards on Food Choice -Physical, psychosocial, and environmental factors associated with entry to long term care in the frail elderly -Who seeks medical help and why? -The role of schools in promoting physical activity and exercise The Cardiff Institute of Society, Health and Ethics (CISHE) is a new collaborative venture between Cardiff University Schools of Social Sciences and Law, and the Department of General Practice. CISHE conducts and co-ordinates methodologically innovative multidisciplinary research, with a strong contribution from the social sciences and within the related domains of biomedicine, health services, public health and bioethics.
