Glasgow G12 Tea/Coffee : from 5.30 in Common room Speaker Cecilia Macintyre, Demography Branch, General Register Office for Scotland Title Recent Trends in Scotland's Population Abstract The Scottish population is projected to fall from 5.05 million in 2002 to 4.84 million in 2027. The most significant factor affecting future projected levels of population is the natural decrease - more deaths than births.
