This ranges from level 1 to senior programmer. SAS PROGRAMMER I - Assist in the preparation and execution of analysis data sets, tables, figures and data listings programs as documented in the Statistical Analysis Plan - Contributes to the identification of raw data problems and communicates the findings to Data Management - Maintenance of study documentation and files according to departmental policy - Helps design the structure and format of analysis data sets, tables, figures and data listings - Responsible for the development and execution of study level programs for analysis data sets, tables, figures and data listings - Assist in the planning and validation of study level programs - Designs the structure and format of analysis data sets, tables, figures and data listings SAS PROGRAMMER II - Responsible for the planning of study level validated programs for analysis data sets, tables, figures and data listings - Assist in the planning, development, validation of project level programs and departmental macros. - Liaison with Data Management staff on database creation, edit check specifications, data quality and query resolution. SENIOR PROGRAMMER - Responsible for the planning, development and execution of project level programs - Must ensure the accuracy of all project/study level output. - Liaison with Clients on specifications - Develops, maintains and validates standard data structure and software. - Designs and writes standard departmental macros that are maintainable, supportable, well-documented programs that are user friendly and accessible. - Monitors procedures for program development and validation.
