Dear All, I have raw data for 1996,97,98,99, up to 2003. I can calculate Odds ratios for my data, all combined or by each year separately. If I want to have an overall odds ratio, should I (1) calculate it using all the data for all these years, OR (2) calculate by year and get a mean?. If (2) is appropriate, do i get a confidence interval by simply taking means of all the years as well?.
