The deadline for this call for papers has been extended to

CALL FOR PAPERS
		CAT for beginners. 
University of the West of England, Bristol
Saturday 14th. February 2004

This informal and practical/hands-on workshop is aimed at those with 
little or no experience of Computer-assisted Translation.
Proposals for presentations and demonstrations are invited which 
illustrate the uses or usefulness of programmes such as 
Access, Trados, SYSTRAN, Déjà Vu, SDLX, Wordfast, 
Multiconcord or Paraconc in different 
contexts.

INVITED PLENARY SPEAKER : Beverly Adab (University of Aston)
"Taking the strain out of decision-making:  Using corpora can be good

If you use computers in translating, come along and share 
your experience. Please send proposals (300 words) to

If you would like to attend, please fill in the registration form 
attached to [log in to unmask] Please register before 
15th. January.

Presentations will be for 20 minutes + 10 minutes for questions.
Demonstrations may be scheduled for one hour in a computer lab.
If you are offering a demonstration, please say what equipment you will 
need when sending in your proposal.
