Hi all

I see that the Manchester stadium got the UK RIBA/CAE inclusive design
award
http://www.architecture.com/go/Architecture/Also/Awards_4028.html

I wonder whether this was for when it was at the commonwealth stadium,
or when it got converted to a football stadium? I had heard that the
level of the pitch was adjusted in the change process to allow more/less
spectators and I am intrigued as to how the ensured that it was good in
both instances especially sightlines etc. As you may have gathered
although I live in Manchester I am not a sports fan so have never been
to see it, perhaps I should!

Regards
Marcus
