Dear colleagues,
Happy Christmas one and all|
On the most recent WEQAS EQAS distribution on a type 2 diabetic, the instrument means for HbA1C (DCCT corrected) were as follows. 8.3 for the 8140
                                                  6.8 for the 8160
                                          and 7.75 for the G7
CE capillary electrophoresis yielded a result of 7.6
This low 8160 result was attributed to ageing of the sample
We are looking at the 8160 and have found no effect of ageing on 3 patient samples (different levels) analysed over 8 days. Any advice? Many thanks.
