Hi, Please could someone advise me. I have an employee who returned to work 2 months ago following Mastectomy ( surgery& radiotherapy 1 year ago). Her role is office based and involves a significant proportion of DSE work. She is still on a phased return and has had the amount of DSE work restricted. However, last week this lady developed a frozen shoulder and lymphodema in her L arm ( she is left handed) and is struggling with pain and restricted movement. She is having physio and is under the supervision of her specialist, but neither have made any recommendations regarding her work. She is keen to remain in work and I think pyschologically it would be particularly detrimental if she had to go off sick again. Has anyone dealt with a simular case and how did you manage to keep the employee in work without further exacerbation of the condition? Thank you in anticipation of your responses.
