Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position in theoretical and
computational modeling of various transport phenomena in nanoscale systems.
The research will be conducted in the group of Petr Kral in the Department
of Chemistry, at the University of Illinois, Chicago.

We are seeking a creative and highly motivated individual, with a Ph.D. in
theoretical physics, chemistry or related fields, and computational skills.
Preliminary knowledge of electronic structure methods, quantum transport
methods or molecular dynamics is welcome. The candidate should be interested
to conduct interdisciplinary research on hybrid molecular/nanoscale systems,
bordering physics, chemistry and biology.

The position is available for a year, starting anytime after September 2004,
with a possibility of extension for another year.

Interested candidates should e-mail CV, a full list of publications and the
names and contact information of three references to: [log in to unmask]
