2005 Prices for the dramatically expanded ALPSP Learned Journals Collection (ALJC) in partnership with Swets are available today; the 2005 collection includes no fewer than 433 titles from 44 publishers. Pricing is based on a percentage of the ALJC's current collective value and is guaranteed for 3 years. Both print-plus-electronic and electronic-only options are available - customers may migrate from one to the other, at annual renewal, during the 3-year licence agreement period. Special consortia arrangements are available. Detailed pricing and licence information (www.alpsp-collection.org <http://www.alpsp-collection.org/> ) is available on the ALJC website. Existing ALJC licensees will shortly receive a customised proposal for the package of new titles added to the collection. The ALJC enables small and medium-sized publishers to package their journals under a single umbrella licence, pricing model and delivery platform. The ALJC spares customers the hassle of negotiating e-licences and pricing with 44 publishers, allowing them to access high quality e-journals directly via SwetsWise Online Content. The 433 ALJC titles are available both in the full collection and in three discipline-specific packages in the areas of medicine & life science (126 titles), science & technology (110 titles), and the arts, humanities & social sciences (225 titles). Customers may continue to purchase through their preferred subscription agent.
