Thought it useful to share some information from the ICO helpline
I posed the question "We are considering using sound recording on school
buses to assist in detecting and preventing crime (bullying and the like
too), what is your advice?
I was advised that our notification needed amending as we only mentioned
CCTV (realised this already but confirmation most useful)
HRA and proprotionality needed consideration (got this too)
Notices would need amending (got this too)
Advice was simple and helpful, this gave me concern.
So, ok people whats wrong or I am being to pessimistic.
