We have a beta copy of a program called Key Guard which stops anything
appearing and makes a noise if 2 keys are pressed at the same time.
Contact me if interested.

Any spellchecker (Word, Spellcatcher) will usually correct such errors
easily as a separate process. Now you come to mention it, automatic
correction programs like Word's ought to be able to do it as a matter of
course, because it is a fairly common type of typo and, I would think,
fairly easily diagnosed/programmed.

I presume that you have considered a physical key guard?
