with apologies for cross-posting 2004 CHORD WORKSHOPS Call for Papers RETAILING, SHOPPING AND THE HOME 1500-2000 28 APRIL 2004 CHORD invites all interested researchers to a workshop devoted to the discussion of the relationship between shopping, retailing, and the home. Proposals are invited for papers exploring any aspect of this topic, including e.g.: Buying for the home Home shopping and mail order The retailing of furniture, furnishings, appliances and other 'home goods'; The home as shop and the shop as home Retailing, domesticity and the family Door-to-door selling. The workshop will be held at: the University of Wolverhampton. Please send proposals (including c. 150 words abstract) to the address below by 13 February 2004. Fee: £ 8.
