Dynamic Equation Fitting Engine - Dyefe: the package for fitting theoretical functions to experimental data. Designed for those who: - understand the danger of sloppy fitting and take the procedure and the results obtained seriously and critically; - want to fit data with statistically meaningful theoretical models; - have a need to explore various models quickly and efficiently; - require non-trivial models, e.g. non-analytical ones; - find that standard methods of minimizations from common fitting packages do not work satisfactorily; - have a bit of experience in programming and want to try out non-trivial ideas both in fitting functions and minimization methods; - need a compact fitting program that can be carried around on a floppy disk.
